BILOXI, Mississippi -- A new poll shows conservative state Sen. Chris McDaniel with a commanding 12-point lead the runoff election in Mississippis GOP primary over six-term incumbent Sen. Thad Cochran (R-MS).
The Citizens United Political Victory Fund poll, conducted by Kellyanne Conway of The Polling Company, Inc., shows McDaniel has a 52 percent to 40 percent lead over Cochran.
In a memo, pollster Conway noted too that McDaniel has an intensity advantage as 47 percent of his supporters say they are definite supporters whereas only 37 percent of Cochrans say as much.
With eight days to go before the run-off election in Mississippi, this poll shows that the momentum is with conservative challenger Chris McDaniel, Citizens United president David Bossie told Breitbart News. It is clear that Mississippians want a fresh voice in the U.S. Senate.
Citizens United Political Victory Fund has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars backing McDaniel in Mississippi.

This one is effectively over.
Quick! Bloomberg needs to send more money to Cochrane.
Go home, thad!
Six term incumbent. Have people no shame?
This one is effectively over.
Depends on how many demos come out to vote for thad.
Throw the bums out!
Here’s hoping this portends a massive tidal wave of discontent that drowns the GOP Elite completely and disheartens them immensely.
The phrase “To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women.” should be the voter battle cry that voting day in MS.
Length of service is not necessarily an issue with me personally.
Jesse Helms could have stayed in there forever, and would’ve had no problem with that!!!!!!!!!!!
No, it's not.
It isn't over until after the election. Cochran MUST be destroyed.
Even if you don't live in MS, please consider giving financial support to McDaniel.
McDaniels’ campaign is growing, thriving and coming into bloom, while Thad Cochran’s campaign continues to fade and wither in brittle dessication. I know where I would place my bet at this late hour.
On another thread right now, there are several people actively campaigning for another Mitt Romeny run.
What does that tell you?
Here’s hoping it is not Cantor’s pollster.
I’m surprised it’s only 12 points.
We need to carry that through the general election into the foreseeable future.
GOPe socialists must be destroyed.
Democrats must be destroyed.
This isn't "just politics", and we don't need "balance". We need to defeat and discredit the entire leftist establishment. We lose America otherwise.
WTF????
He's part of the problem ...
I knoW this run-off election is not until next Tuesday, June 24th, but tomorrow is another primary election day...and, I urge every American to turn out and vote to destroy the entire Democrat Party, and Barack Hussein Obama with it, come election day, November 4, 2014. By selecting conservative, tea party, Republicans by large margins signals more doom and failure for Obama’s low life Hate America, Democrat vermin!!! Get out there and vote, Tomorrow and next Tuesday for Chris McDaniel in MS.
Hint: the Republican Establishment RINOs would be wise to withdraw Thad Cochran from next week’s runoff.....Cochran is going to get slaughtered!!
“Quick! Bloomberg needs to send more money to Cochran.”
Yeah, that’s the ticket, let Bloomie pi$$ away more of his ill-gotten gain. He has plenty more where that came from. I’ll just bet that Ex Governor Boss Hogg Barbour is crapping his pants along with Bitch McConnell (whom I hope loosing to the RAT Grimes).
To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women.
then salt their lands and have their children fear even the mention of our names in stories about the dead Tea Party and what it did to the fat and lazy RINOs that are now extinct except in the bluest of states.
The RINOs are easily recognized by the umbilical cord that extends all the way to Washington DC and that they only eat what is breast fed from the nipples in Washington since they are incapable of making or growing anything that hasn’t been stolen from a tax payer’s home.
