Yeah, um, any video title that starts with "Two Girls and..." is probably not a good idea anymore.
(I know it was from the 40's... just sayin'...)

I saw this, and I kinda stepped back thinking...Hmmmmmmm...
This would technically be a sailors’ dream port of call...
“Liberty calllllll, Liberty callllll...All ashore whose going ashore!!!”
;-)
BTW, even though I liked the film “Strategic Air Command” with Jimmy Stewart, the actress here, kinda annoyed me slightly in the way they wrote her role in that film...
She may be great in this one, but I’ll need to check it out, if its available...

Does that Lambert Brothers Father's Day ad for the money clip say "$10 20% Federal tax included"?

Yes. It’s quite common for ads to mention the tax. It reminds me of the stickers on some gas pumps around here, placed by the retailers’ trade association, that specify the amount of the per-gallon price that is Federal, state, and local tax.

I didn’t know that during WWII there was a 20% Federal execise tax on movie tickets. Was it on everything, sort of the early version of a VAT?

It’s just on some things. We read about it when they passed the law, but I don’t remember the details.

Yes, that was really neat. My little boys all turned up to watch.
