It's not saturated fats or cholesterol that increases the amount of small, dense ldl we have in our blood. It's carbohydrates.

Also read information at the International Network of Cholesterol Skeptics:

http://www.thincs.org/

It’s a worldwide group of doctors and scientists who have rejected the lipid theory of heart disease.

But the government says I should eat almost no meat, but consume 2,000,000 servings of carbs per day; the good news being that I can “burn off” all those carbs by doing 197 hours of “cardio” every day.

Almost everything the powers that be have said about exercise and nutrition over the past 40 years has been wrong, possibly on purpose.

Good reply.

You left out that we must go on the statins which are very harmful to anyone who takes them while:

“But the government says I should eat almost no meat, but consume 2,000,000 servings of carbs per day; the good news being that I can “burn off” all those carbs by doing 197 hours of “cardio” every day.

These lies started during the LBJ years. One might view them as a silent and dangerous campaign to make Americans overweight, diabetic and weak.

Possibly? Methinks it’s something more than that.

If a food is advertised, you should think twice about eating it.

We cannot have correct nutritional information published, it would shut down a huge percentage of the economy if people ate as they should.

Everything in moderation, nothing in excess seems to be what most of the people I’ve talked to who are both old and healthy practice.

There’s no such thing as a safe substance, only safe amounts.

Is it OK to eat eggs again (regardless of what Dr. Oz says)?

Cholesterol from your diet is broken down in the digestive process, and the metabolites from that dietary cholesterol do not form back into LDL cholesterol. Your liver, however, is working overtime to convert other circulating compounds in your bloodstream into a number of different lipids that are either stored in body tissues, or are used for internal body repair.

The human body is WAY more sophisticated and nuanced than even the most knowledgeable of researchers has yet discovered.

As the late Roseanne Roseannadanna would say.

I had deduced a while back that there MUST be at least two different types of ldl’s. This research proves it.

....................................

What are ldl’s?

In the body, we have fats, carbs, and proteins. Fats are NECESSARY to life.

But fats cannot exist standalone in the blood. They are insoluble.

LDL’s are proteins with a special purpose. They are hydrophilic (love water) on one end, and lipophilic (love fats) on the other. In the body, a bunch of these will surround fats (and other substances!!) and form a balloon of material to transport it through the bloodstream.

So ldl’s, in and of themselves, are not the enemy. It is what some of them are carrying that is.

And it has taken them MILLIONS OF DOLLARS of research, spanning MULTIPLE GENERATIONS of lives (and deaths!!) to finally figure this out!!

If that was their intent, mission accomplished.

Vegetarians and runners have both had an undue influence on health policy. They have some interesting and valuable things to say, but they have been given the entire stage, to the detriment of the nation’s health.

And, I believe HIGH triglycerides are developed from eating too many carbs/sugars....lower the carbs/sugars...and the triglycerides drop. Tri’s LOVE sugar.

If you are taking cholesterol meds, stop today. Don’t take another pill. I took them for a few years on and off, they made me feel like crap, and now I have nerve damage in my feet which I believe 100% was caused by statins, and will never heal. There are group chats about this out there too.

My mom has been on statins for years and can barely feel her feet. If you’re taking them and your feet are cold or numb, you have it too.

I stopped all that BS 1.5 years ago, stopped eating lowfat everything, went back to red meat, EGGS, pork, all the stuff I loved...my cholestrol DROPPED a LOT.

Also, your body NEEDS cholestrol...why do you think it produces it? DUH.

Have at it!

I routinely eat three eggs a day. It makes sense that eggs are the perfect food, as they have everything in them it takes to make a living being.

And I am 5’7” and weigh 130 lbs...
