House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) failed to congratulate or even acknowledge Dave Brat in his concession speech last night.
Neither did Cantor offer Brat his support in November's general election against his Democratic opponent, or call Brat to concede the race, according to Brat.
"Cantor's concession speech did not mention Dave once," Brat's campaign manager Zach Werrell noted to Breitbart News.

X15 Cruise Basselope. the only weapon America ever needs ;)
I just love how oh so many on the right that use his name seem to abandon everything he said to get their RINOs into power.
It’s almost like they lied about being Reaganites to begin with... My fave is the ones saying we are too pure to elect him today.

Sorry, I misunderstood your post to mean you thought GOP-e would endorse Brat. Hell will freeze over first!
To: bert
Many many Freepers made the choice to allow Obama to be reelected by staying home. Right. And the next part of this canard is "If you write-in (or vote 3rd Party), you vote for the Dem."
Which, of course, is another way of saying "you must vote for the RINO." Which means nothing ever changes. Which means GOP-e never has to give a rat's rear end about conservatives. Lather, rinse, repeat.
It's all crap and the jig is up. NO MORE sh!t sandwiches from the people who are supposed to be "fighting for US!"

I was being sarcastic. They only “Rally behind the winner” when they win.

Roger that. I actually have the ability (less kryptonite of course) to ferret out sarcasm. :>} I’m kinda thinkin’ that there will be no gop-e rallyin’ going on.

Interesting to watch his wife during the speech. Cold as a fish.
What do you want?
She wasn't that different from other political wives in situations like this.

If Cantor had won, you can bet it would be the first complaint from his side if Brat a) didn't congratulate him and b) didn't immediately tell his supporters to get behind Cantor in the general. There would be FReepers doing it too -- oh, c'mon guys, the primary was hard fought and your guy lost, now we have to hold our noses blah blah blah. again--who cares? we know who the GOPe are... what they want... and that is why Cantor lost... i'm expecting a snake to behave like anything other than a snake...
Cantor is an ass for this slight and represents just one of the myriad problems with the GOP-e.
he is an ass for many reasons... on top of that, he's a loser! who cares how this losing ass behaved in his concession speech... why would anybody expect graciousness from a big-ass loser? my thought is, if it were i who took him out, my people and i would be like this: "good riddance--don't let the door hit you on the way out... i've got to bigger, better, more important things to do--i am about the people's business..."
Brat won the primary... now on to the next thing...

Truth being that you are full of it.
Next you will tell us Hagel was responsible for barry releasing terrorists. Equally wrong. But a shill does what a shill does.

Finally my Senator is going to run. I guess he got tire of sending replys to my letters complaining about Bonehead. He does always respond though and I find him to be one of the best Senators and he is a true conservative.

Cantor did suggest he was “conservative”, but for the fact that he isn’t he might have survived the primary.

I agree Boehner is a terrible leader. He has no apparent ability to publicize good policy. Dont forget. The House has voted against Obamacare many times. It goes nowhere, and Boehner does nothing to rally our side.
Name the one thing you can remember Boehner shoving through the House, that we would support. You mentioned votes against Obamacare, but as you agree, it's done so quietly, we don't even hear of it. Then think of what the guy supports that we do hear of. Comprehensive immigration reform. Special meetings with guys like Soros et al. Allowing our military to be gutted.
However, I disagree that hes blocking someone good from holding the seat.
I think you'll disagree with your own thought here in a moment. Think about it the way I describe it below. I think you'll agree.
Its the voters who are blocking someone else, not Boehner.
No, the public is only responsible for him being in Congress. They are not responsible for him being the Speaker of the House. There are 233 Republicans in the House. The membership chose him to be the Speaker.
It used to be the Senate was a total lost cause. Now the Congress has followed suit. There are very few people in the Republcian camp that are worth a damn. Obviously less than half that 233, since Boehner is still allowed to bungle things at will.
They had the power, made the choice, and Boehner is the partys preferred candidate for that seat. We dont agree with that choice, but the most good candidate in a democracy is the one with the most votes. They say hes good.
No, actually the Republican members of Congress made that decision. And yes, he does take the seat of a much better qualified man. Boehner is a ship without a rudder. Look, surely you don't believe Boehner is the best we have. So please spare both of us the idea that if someone got voted in, they're the best. In a word, think Obama. Is he the most "good" candidate too?.
I agree its a bad situation with the RNC, but whats the alternative? Forgive me if I thought you were willing to vote for a Democrat to defeat a perceived RINO. Some here have claimed to want to do exactly that.
What's the alternative to this RNC? Canning the whole lot of them, the leadership, and starting over going back to basics.
No. Im not saying someone should vote against their principles to support a RINO. I personally believe thats a better outcome than letting a Democrat win, but I refuse to demean anyone who doesnt agree with me. I also want to make it absolutely clear that I want the RINOs defeated across the board in primaries, even if that means we might lose some of those seats to Democrats. Since no one can predict the future, I dont buy into electability arguments for backing RINOs in primaries.
We agree here, and I have a rather pointed object lesson. As bad as Carter was, look who followed him.
As good as everybody said Bush was, look who followed him.
RINOs absolutely destroy the cause of Conservatism.

Hold the horses......
Many many Freepers made the choice to allow Obama to be reelected by staying home. They preferred the Democrat abomination.
They will come now reiterating their sanctimonious rationalizations but cant escape the hard truth.
If you think I'm going to vote for the likes of McCain ever, you're in for a big surprise.
I will never cast a vote for the likes of McCain. I don't care how stupid my fellow Republicans are, or how gamed the system is so that Democrats help choose our nominee, or how vile the RNC leadership has become, I will never cast a vote for the likes of McCain. NEVER!
Now, if you want to ignore everything but my refusal and blame Obama on me, fine. That would simply mean you didn't understand how gamed the system has become, so that we are forced to chose between McCain or Obama.
I refuse to be a player once the dilema gets that warped.
The truth, that you seem to have stumbled over is that we have open primaries where Democrats help chose our nominee. The truth is that the RNC's favorite talking heads trash and dismiss the solid Conservatives. The truth is, the RNC is willing to help fund the bad Republicans, and unwilling to fund the good Republcians.
Don't let any of this get in your way when you want to blame individual citizens who recognize both men would be a total disaster.
When you get a guy like McCain in there, if he has a Republican Congress behind him, he could screw this nation so bad it would be over.
On one issue alone, the issue of Comprehensive Immigration Reform, he would have destroyed this nation. Remember the McCain/Kennedy Bill. It would be law by now. That would have destroyed our nation.
Vote for him? LMAO
Surely you jest.
