When big money faces liberty....Im standing with liberty and to hell with the money pushing bastards!
I’m sick every time I open up Drudge but I’ve yet to hear any mention of it by the MSM.
Watch and observe: The Tea Party Cometh.
Agree. Let’s see if oither Reps follow the lead of Dave Brat. American jobs for American workers.
I hope conservatives learn a lesson from the defeat of Cantor: Brat was the only opponent! Voters were able to focus on one opponent to Cantor, and focus on the issues.
But when there are numerous conservatives trying to defeat an incumbent, or just well known known RINO, things become too scattered and unfocused and the chance of victory is much less.
Folks: Read My Lips, Mr. Cantor: No illegal immigrant should ever be allowed to become an American citizen or be able to vote in any USA election....period. Worker permits...maybe....but no citizenship or vote....ever!!! Mr. Cantor learned that tonight!!!
And......the rest of the Republican establishment better take note!!! The Tea Party lives!!! Congratulations....Mr. Brat!!! And.....If the Pubbie Establishment has any brains....say bye, bye to Thad Cochran in MS!!!
They got their glasses ready as Boehner opens another fifth of Jack Daniels. Drunken a-holes every last one.
16.5% in and Graham at 61.8%
I’m aware of big money pushing amnesty but I believe those in congress will wake up to the monumental message sent by the voters tonight. This isn’t a small loss.. it’s huge for someone whose held office for 12 terms and is beaten by an unknown.
And (with apologies to those with weak stomachs)...Im guessing Boehner and his minions are also bending over and holding their ankles for Obammy and asking “What’s next boss?”

What you may not know is that it was not only about illegal immigration and amnesty, but reducing legal immigration. Brat is the first politician since Tancredo to articulate the need to curb legal immigration, but unlike Tancredo, he linked it to jobs depressed wages. This is the template for Reps to win elections. I hope they learn that new reality as they did in the UK when the chant went out British jobs for British workers, Now all three main UK parties have a consensus on reducing legal immigration.
Good point but in runoff states like SC it can be good to run a libertarian and a conservative against the incumbent. Then have the conservative carefully cultivate ties with the libertarian constituents and win the runoff.
VA-7 is very conservative whereas SC has dem bastions and a machine. Graham could count on dem crossovers, not so in VA-7.
But I agree that too many splits voters in too many directions.
Cantor may run as a write-in; but even if he were to win he will never garner his dream of being elected as Boehner’s successor as Speaker of the House. There is enough backbone among the House Republicans that they would never vote for a Speaker who did this to the nominee chosen in the primary.
I was thinking SC was next week, but I am not optimistic about the Palmettos.
Fritz Hollings must be working stealth for Lindsey since Strom can’t.
If they get a work permit, they will illegally register to vote and they will vote or a ‘coach’ will handle their votes for them. This is real.
Need voting reform, must prove American citizenship, must show ID and must have absentee voting curtailed severely.
