People are arguing about what the United States got out of the deal that swapped five top level terrorist leaders for one American soldier who was, at best, absent from his post in a war zone. Soldiers who served in the same unit with him call him a deserter. The key to this deal, however, is less likely to be what the United States got out of the deal than it is about what Barack Obama got out of the deal. If nothing else, it instantly got the veterans' hospitals scandals off the front pages of newspapers and pushed these scandals aside on television news programs.
It was a clear winner for Barack Obama. And that may be all that matters to Barack Obama.
People who are questioning the president's competence seem not to want to believe that any President of the United States would knowingly damage this country's interests.
One of the problems of many fundamentally decent people is that they find it hard to understand people who are not fundamentally decent, or whose moral compass points in a different direction from theirs.
Many people who are painfully disappointed with President Obama have no real reason to be. The man's whole previous history, from childhood on, was shaped by a whole series of people, beginning with his mother, whose vision of America was very much like that of the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, whose church Barack Obama belonged to for 20 long years.
Obama is not a stupid man. There is no way that he could have sat in that church all that time without knowing how Jeremiah Wright hated America, and how his vision of the world was one in which "white folks' greed runs a world in need."

True, but WWII was a big reset and virtue made a comeback until the 60’s when the adults capitulated to the spoiled kids, and except for an interval here and there the brats have pretty much run the show, and now with Obama, it’s on steroids.
The next two and a half years it’s going to be one edict after another, each one with the same smirky challenge “Stop me if you can”.

Good people stood by and allowed whole generations to be brainwashed by a liberal education establishment. It shouldn’t surprise us much that these uneducated kids are throwing away their liberty without even realizing it.
It is a shame that the world is going to judge black people by the actions of a man who crawled out of the womb of a white woman. Nothing fair about that.
Our very best chance of NOT living in a Totalitarian State is to use the laws we have... election laws. We can vote Obama out of office.

Obama and liberal elites WANT open rebellion.
They’ve bought bullets, SWAT Teams, and ‘re-educated’ police departments and hired thousands of on-line trolls to push the same message. Democrats WANT a rebellion to put down. It’s why the endless ‘giving us the finger’ - - with things like the VA, terrorists trades, IRS targeting conservatives, using the force of governemnt to move against everyday citizens, messes up Obamacare sign-ins, opening the country to endless illegals. It’s all meant to destabilize. It’s NOT an accident on Obama’s part. This stuff’s being done on purpose...
Don’t fall for the fear tactics he’s using. Stay with the law - it’s our shield and protection... it’s our only chance.
Once we’re past the midterms the talk will switch to ‘who’s next’ and the main crisis will be over. Obama and Holder’s power will start to evaporate as everyone starts mentally moving to the next ‘star’...

It’s sad so many Americans are so totally ignorant these days that their precious liberty can be stolen right out from under their own noses. Hey, I would be ignorant too if I hadn’t taken it upon myself to educate myself about politics 20 or so yrs ago. Most people I know are intellectually lazy, and are not even paying much attention to politics. Obama’s counting on it staying that way.

Obama’s a democrat. He’s made decisions we don’t like. That’s OK... the people elected him. If we had made a better case for our guy - or put up a real conservative - and won - democrats wouldn’t like choices being made...
That’s OK it’s how our system works.
What’s not OK is when democrats start breaking the law - like using the IRS against citizens for political reasons. It’s Nixon on speed. That’s not OK - but we have systems to take care of those things. And they’re working... even now as we type the process is working. Have faith in our system - it’s been great for over two hundred years and it’ll keep being great...

Back in the early 1980s I was an officer in the Navy, and even the other officers thought I was a nutbar for saying that the media were biased.
It just took the people over toward the left of the bell curve too long to pull their heads out.

Every time I think I've made in-ways to educating a liberal with truth and empirical evidence I find they usually re-lapse into their intellectually lazy, liberal viewpoints. The brainwashing is very very deep and besides, most of them just want to hang out with the "cool" people anyway. Not us fuddy-duddy Christians and conservatives.
They just don't realize they're selling their souls to the devil via the democrat party. They also don't know that we actually have a lot more fun then their miserable lifestyles bring them.
