Last week, photos surfaced from Texas and Arizona showing Border Patrol processing centers overwhelmed as thousands of unaccompanied children from Central America continue to need shelter and resources. The photos show hundreds of children sleeping in crowded, chain linked cages. Agents have described the situation as a humanitarian crisis.
In response to the leaked images out of Arizona, Patrol Agent in Charge Leslie Lawson is cracking down on the use of personal technology by agents in the Nogales Border Patrol processing center.
"Due to the recent unauthorized use of a personally owned electronic device in the Nogales Processing Center, the use of such devices will be restricted to locations outside of detention areas," Lawson wrote in a June 6 memo to all employees at the Nogales station. "Effective immediately, the use of personally owned cellular phones, cameras, or recording devices in the Nogales Detention Facility and the Nogales Processing Center is strictly prohibited. All personnel working or visiting detention facilities at the Nogales Station will be required to turn off these electronic devices and store them in a locker other secure location prior to entering the detention area."
According to sources, agents have been threatened with firings if found to have leaked the photos to media.
"They are looking to fire any agents involved," one source said anonymously for fear of losing their job.

Maybe instead of firing the agents they should deport the problem.
One must not embarrass the prince or his court...
Whoa, whoa, whoa back the train up...so the crime is taking pictures of and documenting the crime...That is the problem here...that someone actually recorded the crime occurring and now that is a crime. WTF is wrong with my country?!?
What are these kids being told by the guardians/parents who send them on? “When you make it good in America Del Norte, call us and we’ll come”?
Surely, brute economics (once one has enough to carry on a subsistence) can’t be that influential can it? Or maybe it can.
It is to have a broken heart. You’d like to go down to Guatemala etc. and shake some parents and say what the HELL are you doing to these kids.
So much for Obama’s “most transparent government ever.” And we are paying all their generous salaries and benefits while they try to keep us in the dark. What a nasty bunch.
The problem is that now the law is whimsical — you are only 'guilty' when your offense is against those in power, when your 'offense' lines-up with those in power it is justified, when your non-offense is against them then things are reread/reinterpreted so that you are 'guilty'.
Buses full of kids... hey what’s a few more miles.
It’s FOR THE CHILLUN ... no, it’s not even THAT good now.
It’s for Big Ears and his entourage.
Is America getting queasy enough to upchuck yet? I hope it is.
Why not just get rid of ICE and all BP agents, evidently we don’t need the agency anymore.
If we US citizens sent our kid out on an illegal cross border trip alone..CPS would be at our door and a judge would take away our parental rights. But, the laws are always non=applicable when it comes to illegal aliens.
We should call in a judge..suspend all parental rights to these kids and then fly them back to their country of origin and turn them over to their own CPS.
Once again the Obama Regime is using non-disclosure agreements and orders to hide their crimes.
Mariel Boat Lift version 2014.....................
This isn't only impeachable under constitutional law - its prosecutable under statutory and regulatory law.
But the GOP will remain in the fetal position.
That will result in a complete news blackout as the MSM has no interest in trying to get the facts.
One must not embarrass the prince or his court...
Your right about that. You shouldn’t embarrass the clown prince and his court. They do a good enough job already.
The big push is on. Odumbo only has a little over 6 months before the next congress is sworn in. If the senate falls to the repubs, then Odumbo will spend the last two years avoiding the tar and feathers.
He has to move on his agenda now or he might never get around to it.
The Taliban for traitor swap was just the beginning and I believe that the pace is going to be fast and furious from now until January...
