If you are in need of a morning coffee barf, reading this article should do the trick! What a rancid rant, indicating that those who protest this decision are insane.

Rather than the word “indicating,” a better choice would be “alluding.”

From the pen of the partisan master for whom truth and reality are vile representations of Obama hysteria.

BTW, I was struck by your tagline. I’ve been saying for years and years that God’s first language (way before Hebrew, Greek and Latin) was Trigonometry. I thought it was an original insight—— but Galileo got it first!

This commentary appears in today’s Opelika-Auburn News. However, it is not yet available online at that website or the WaPo site. Finally found it posted at another newspaper’s site.

As my husband was leaving for work (school’s out for me for a while), I asked his opinion. He stated, “I do not read his (Dionne) commentaries because he writes partisan sh*t.”

Sanctimonious clap trap from the left’s amen choir.

What is crystal clear in the Bergdahl case and Benghazi is that this administration and it’s sycophants have a fundamental disconnect from the ethos of the American military. There is an attitude that, “ hey, these guys signed up for it, after all they like to fight (unlike us) so what’s the big deal if they get killed.

It was universal, not partisan, the only people that thought it was a good thing were Bob “Taliban” Bergdahl and obama

Well put.

A black, deaf pastor. Now THAT is an esoteric group.

Are YOU one of those three things? Just curious.

In St. Paul’s Letter to Timothy:

‘For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear.’

there is the only explanation I can think of to make any sense of E J Dionne’s continued readership.

His essay here is so completely illogical

It’s from a term used aboard ships. If the sailor was below deck and had to throw up or take a dump he used a bucket. When they dumped the bucket overboard or out a porthole they yelled “Watch under” and that was shortened to chunder.

I heard it on an episode of “Turn” a few weeks back and went looking.

Definitely off-topic, but in response to your observation regarding my tag-line:

In the past, I have presented several mini-units throughout the year to my seventh-grade math students. They researched a famous mathematician, explored an overview of the history of math, and investigated, based on Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man, the question, “is the ratio of our arm length to height really equal to 1?”

(I stated “in the past” because of time constraints imposed on us by the implementation of mandatory assessments related to the adoption of College- and Career-Ready Standards. Whereas in previous years we “lost” about a week of instructional time to mandated assessments, during the last two years we have LOST an ADDITIONAL 10 days to a pre-assessment, three formative assessments, and a summative assessment. - This summer, I am re-planning in hopes of “squeezing in” these mini-units throughout next year!)

Sorry, E.J., but there was no “rush to judgment” concerning Bowe’s desertion. This has been in the news for years. What is new is that Øbama released the top 5 Taliban in custody in clear violation of the law. You might ask “what price is too high for the return of one of our soldiers?” I cannot put a precise figure on that but ... would you consider turning over Hawaii too high a price? How about walking away from Israel? Ask a soldier, “what price would be too much for your return? The life of your squad mates? The freeing of a Hitler?” Or would that soldier’s answer be “avenge me!”

In the eyes of this veteran, writing this from my V.A. ward bed, that Bergdahl is in violation of the UCMJ, which includes directives
of conduct, while captured. I view his actions as treasonous,
and therefore, I can only view his reward as echoing the reward
given to a captured VC by a South Vietnamese officer,
in the streets of Saigon (you know which picture I allude to).

chunder bucket

It IS a preferable euphemism.
*****

However preferable, it does lack the alliteration of the crude colloquialism. ;-)
