Winning with a Rino gives more of what you have. If that is your definition of what America needs, then I don’t know what to tell you.

Winning has to be worth doing. Replacing a Democrat with a Republican that believes and votes like and with Democrats is no victory. If people spent a fraction of the effort working to elect conservatives that they use to invent excuses to keep electing closeted Democrats we would be ‘winning’ n the truest sense.

I don’t think we “need” more RINOs. I’m not excusing them. I’m simply saying something is better than nothing, and the latter is exactly what we get with Democrats.

I also think conservatives are trying to win elections, but we aren’t winning everything. That’s simple fact. I can piss and moan about it, or I can accept it and move on to the next best option.

Consider McConnell. I didn’t want him to win, but he’s not my senator. The people in his state picked him over the more conservative Bevin. Like it or not, their choices are now limited to McConnell or a Democrat. There are no other options. One of them is going to be one of Kentucky’s senators, and McConnell—whatever you want to say about him—is not going to vote in lockstep with President Obama and the Democrats.
