I don’t think we “need” more RINOs. I’m not excusing them. I’m simply saying something is better than nothing, and the latter is exactly what we get with Democrats.
I also think conservatives are trying to win elections, but we aren’t winning everything. That’s simple fact. I can piss and moan about it, or I can accept it and move on to the next best option.
Consider McConnell. I didn’t want him to win, but he’s not my senator. The people in his state picked him over the more conservative Bevin. Like it or not, their choices are now limited to McConnell or a Democrat. There are no other options. One of them is going to be one of Kentucky’s senators, and McConnell—whatever you want to say about him—is not going to vote in lockstep with President Obama and the Democrats.
There is nothing to consider. RINOS got us into this mess refusing to hold anyone on the left to any account at all. Multi uear investigations leading nowhere, excuses for Obama overreach, allowing DOMA to be destroyed and DATT to be pen and phoned away.
they were complicit. They did nothing. That’s reality. Romney haz less conservative positions on his record than Obama. Literally. look it up. Mitch declared war on the Tea Party. They are complicit. And as such, no different than a democrat.
Every major issue they either sided with dems or caved into them. Thats a fact. Anyone supporting and or wanting more of them is no better than they are.
Third parties and write ins are not allowed in Kentucky? Imagine their surprise.
