Exchange of deserter Bergdahl with 5 worst of the worst was a great success for Obummer.....it has buried the front news about VA scandal.
The NYT and Eric Schmitt are promoting: “the platoon suffered from lapses in discipline” in their attempt to apparently marginalize the platoon. Well, retired army specialist, Samuel Masamitsu, conveys a sharply contradictory impression of that platoon the Left is working hard to discredit.
What Bergdahl and his family are up to is strange, but not nearly as strange as Obama’s role in this.
It is obvious Bergdahl willingly left his platoon and sought out the Taliban. The military knew it from the bottom to the top.
Why would Obama release 5 Taliban commanders for him, and have the Rose Garden ceremony with his parents—including his weird beard Pashtun-speaking dad with this in mind?
Did he really think the media could and would suppress the truth about Bergdahl’s desertion, and we wouldn’t notice Bergdahl’s father looks like he joined the Taliban? And sending out Susan “YouTube video” Rice out to praise his service?
I know Obama wants to close Guantanamo, but there are about 150 prisoners left. If he lets 5 go at a time under circumstances like this, he’ll be lucky if Mother Jones and The Nation still support him.
It makes absolutely no sense to me. What does Obama stand to gain from all this?

If the liberal movement wanted to make Bergdahl into a war hero and for him to get a Medal of Honor, then it'll happen. And there isn't a damn thing we can do about it.
