If you have ever been stopped by a black standing in the middle of the road. Chances are you will never do it again...and you will drive with your doors locked.
That came to my mind also.. ..I would say the same study should be made on sending conservative whites across the street see how many stop then..
How about an experiment to see how many cabbies stop for blacks versus whites?
I was shopping yesterday and almost got run over by an African American, aka black lady. She wasn’t stoppin’ for some crackuh to cross the road.
This stuff is such BS.
Maybe its because so many inner city people have an “I dare you” attitude about traffic.
I hate going in town because of people who seem to deliberately wander out into traffic and then take their time about it. Maybe stop and yell at someone on a porch or wait for someone to catch up.

Did the study take into account the drivers level of experience with aggressive black guys who step out into the road and slow walk, apparently to make you stop and to keep you stopped as long as they felt like? This isn’t just common it’s DEAD common.
It might be their preternatural aversion to crosswalks.

The study was conducted in Portland - a big LIBERAL city. I guess liberals are racist.
Walking in the middle of the road when a car needs to pass is more dangerous for African-Americans than any other group because they do it so much more often. Also, they refuse to move and make cars go around them.
Silly study. There are so many confounders that it is hard to say that the difference is really race. For instance, what was the behavior of the people waiting to cross the street? Did they step boldly out and begin to walk? Did they try to make eye contact with the drivers first? Etc.
I was badly injured crossing the street after a black man stopped to wait for me. I tripped and broke my arm. He pulled his truck over and helped me to get up and stayed with me until the worst of the shock had passed. He wanted to drive me to the hospital, but I would not let him, since I thought I had already taken up too much of his time. I drove myself. And what does this story show about the race of people crossing the street? Absolutely nothing, just like this “study” shows.
Lets be honest. Disruptive jaywalking is a taunt and dare routine practiced with gusto among African Americans.
Has this article taken into account the proportion of blacks crossing the street where they feel like it compared to everybody else?
If some guy walks in front of me when I’m driving, I may not have the ability to stop even if I wanted to.
Did they do the other side of this study? How many blacks crossing the street purposely slow down to make white drivers stop?
Yep ... this is definitely a big problem. I heard that in Pennsylvania you can buy a special rider on your car insurance whereby you are not charged points for running over black people.
That seems to be the case.
