Savage's studies were more laboratory sciences.

Savage may have a point but the way he attacks other conservatives or moderates in personal ways I detest.....

he thinks he's being "modern' and "edgy" I guess and wants to attract all listeners....not me......

I'm only on one team....the team that will defeat rats and that ilk....Savage is on his own team....to diminish other pundits while he tries to pull in more people...he can go to hell....

and I detest Krackmyer too....but its not personal....

I'm not trying to be a defender of Savage by any means, but it's ridiculous to suggest that because Krauthammer was paralyzed when he got his degree, that somehow his degree is better or worth more.

Savage acknowledges God, from what I've heard from him. He might be a "practical atheist," but one who defers to the moral order of a God created universe.

Savage has a point here. Krauthammer often shows common sense in his analyses, but once in awhile he makes no sense at all. Maybe he is fundamentally unhappy and depressed. Thus explaining his outlier comments, and Savage's comments.

Savage is a fairly smart guy - uses his rants to stir up interest. He believes in what he says but after it's all said and done, none of it goes anywhere. His abusive treatment of others gets tiring and old.

I don't agree with Krauthammer's take on this prisoner swap that almost immediately puts America in heightened danger. I haven't heard Krauthammer acknowledge that

1) they knew Bergdahl had deserted, so questionable circumstances surrounding his captivity

2) near the end of 2013, the Obama administration put the kabash on a swap of $ for Bergdahl because Obama wanted a prisoner exchange coming out of Gitmo which he's trying to depopulate

3) all of which calls into question the claimed "exigent circumstances" - this guy had been in captivity for five years - why wait five years and then suddenly we have "exigent circumstances".

This almost certainly could have been done another way.

The point I was making was it takes a certain type of man to do what Krauthammer did...I don't think many could and that makes him...a cut above the rest...

I’ve always wondered, and hearing him talking about drinking a lot when I used to listen to his show in the Bay Area, if he’s an alcoholic. Someone told me the story about him yelling at his wife in front of some radio big wigs at some dinner.

Like I said, Savage studied plants on South Pacific islands. That might sound like a vacation to some, perhaps even finding one's self a la backpacking across Europe, I suppose. But he did get a degree out of it nonetheless.
