U.S. military advisers are heading to Ukraine, the Air Force Times reports.
The small team will be there to assess "mid- and long-term needs for defense reform," a Pentagon official tells Chuck Vinch.
The White House has slowly been rolling out its assistance to Ukraine since early March, including a $1 billion aid package. Back then, interim Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk met with President Obama at the White House and appealed for military aid, including arms, ammunition, and intelligence support.

And where are the military advisers and supplies from Germany and the rest of the EU... Obama is tiptoeing into another confrontation and deployment of US forces, not to mention throwing another $ billion over the transom.

The bulk of it according to the article is more MREs, with a few dozen night vision goggles and body armor.

How do you figure that, is a newly elected idiot switching from years of advisers, to putting in 16,000 troops?
There is nothing wrong with advisers, the Green Berets are specialists at that and teaching and organizing, it is why they were created, and why they are the only force of their type in the world, and Europe was their primary reason for being created.
