Originally he was all for the trade of prisoners back in February, but if you listen to him now, it's like that never ever happened. Scarce properly called him out over it by saying: The craven politics of John McCain are nothing new. They aren't, but what's just as frustrating is that CNN had the chance to question him on his new position, but failed to do so. Will the media ever call him on it?

Even though they are a liberal site; this article does prove something: NOBODY like McCain. Not liberals. Not conservatives.
You can explain it if you look at the file on Bergdahl that was given to Congresscritters. Pertinent information was left out. The administration was attempting to manipulate Congress by withholding things like the note Bergdahl wrote renouncing his citizenship. How many other instances are there of Obama manipulating intel reports for Congress?
McCain is a grand joke. I have done some research on this one. And he (along with some “conservative” pundits) were almost BEGGING the POTUS to do this 4 months ago.

I can understand his position(s). As a former POW, he would want all POWs returned to the United States. However, as a former Naval officer, he would not support desertion (or treason).
In other words, “I was for bargaining with the enemy waaaaay before I was against it.”

The fact that McCain, or any number of Republicans, wanted to see Bergdahl freed doesn’t change the fact that Obama unilaterally broke the law. Unless this writer, or anyone else can point out where McCain or anyone outside of the WH gave approval for the illegal deal Obama did, this kind of reporting is just grandstanding and diversion.
It is worrying that there was a lack of understanding from McCain and the other RINO’s about Bergdahl being a deserter. Another example of jumping on political bandwagons without knowing the full story, then looking like fools having to fake outrage later.
