The Taliban released a video Wednesday purporting to show the moment former prisoner Bowe Bergdahl was handed over to American custody.
The 17-minute video, sent to NBC News by a known Taliban spokesman, shows both sides quickly shaking hands before a clean-shaven Bergdahl is handed over.

The fact I was referring to was the health condition of Bergdahl in the Taliban video versus the White House reason that his health was deteriorating. It is easy to see the lie.
Bluntly I passed a supermarket stand that had the front page of the Seattle Times plastered with the words that Bergdahl was traded quickly because of his health and the 30 day notification was ignored. Then later at the computer I saw the Taliban video which showed Bergdahl in excellent health as he was released to special forces from a blackhawk helicopter.
Susan Rice is famous for falsely blaming Benghazi on a video. Now she is caught in a lie that Bergdahl’s health was so bad that they could not wait the 30 days to notify Congress about the swap.
As the facts come out people will see the blatant lies of this administration. It’s already happening.

That SOB wasn’t “captured”. He defected to the enemy and I hope that we treat him as a disgraced AWOL traitor and that he spends the rest of his miserable life in hard labor in prison at a minimum.
I don’t read the NYT but did catch Obama’s propagandist F. Chuck Todd say it done because of the prodding of the republicans, particularly John McCain, who were anxious to get Bergdahl home. Of course his reporting overlooked the fact that these same republicans would never have agreed to a swap but why confuse the public with all the facts.
Translation would have been nice. It did not look to me as if he left the bag behind...could be wrong.
if you watch the video close (the one on Utube from the link in this thread above) you will see the sf guy on the left takes it and chucks it over on the ground b4 they get to the chopper
Just for the record, Berghdal was not a POW. We have not been at war against radical Islamist’s since 2009.
He was a POCO — Prisoner of Overseas Contingency Operations.
