Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl wrote a note expressing a desire to renounce his American citizenship, according to Fox News.
Fox News’ Jennifer Griffin reported Tuesday that members of Bergdahl’s unit said he left behind a note saying he felt disillusioned with the Army and wanted to renounce his citizenship before he was captured in 2009.
Griffin reported that the note has not been made public, nor been provided to Fox, but is part of the body of evidence being examined in the classified investigation.
There have been a number of questions surrounding the deal to release Bergdahl in exchange for five Guantanamo Bay detainees, including whether Bergdahl really got lost or was actively looking for the Taliban when he was captured.

I heard on the radio that the celebration/parade was cancelled.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the army is now thinking of trying him for desertion. This may just be a feint but I’m wondering if the blowback is getting to them.

I like the theory that BHO’s puppet-masters are finished using him now, and are using this ridiculous prisoner exchange to set up either his impeachment or resignation. Even a blind man could see that BHO is utterly incompetent and completely out of touch. This situation just nails it.
Try his bin laden looking daddy for treason too..remember the email he sent his father before he deserted..where he called America “Disgusting” and how US troops are a “joke” his father wrote him back saying “Go with your conscience” tell me..if you received a rambling email from your son serving overseas is that all you would write back to him “Go with your conscience?” Something tells me the daddy is very much involved in this..praising Allah, Im thinking the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree
So how does that work with the Army? If he renounced his citizenship, can the Army still court-martial him? Does the Army have any authority over him at all at this (non-citizen) point?
Any vets or active-duty who can address the UCMJ on this?
