Chicago Police investigate shooting at a laundromat on 79th Street on Monday night.

Seven people have been shot tonight including a 14-year-old at a coin laundry in the South Chicago neighborhood, authorities said.
Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford said an EMS Plan I, which automatically sends at least five ambulances to the scene, was called about 8:20 p.m. for a shooting in the 7900 block of South Marquette Avenue.
Many of the victims were "laid out" on the floor of the coin laundry in the 2600 block of East 79th Street, said Langford. The laundry's glass window was shattered and police are running around trying to interview people, said Langford.
"Most of" the shooting happened at the laundry, said Langford.
The 14-year-old victim was taken in serious to critical condition to University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital, said Langford, who said most of the victims were "young adults.''
Langford said one person was taken in serious to critical condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, two victims who were in fair to serious condition were taken to South Shore Hospital, one was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious to critical condition, and one was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. The seventh victim was taken to Jackson Park Hospital in fair to serious condition, Langford said.

You can bet that nobody was packing there except those who were bent on the hits.
Short news cycle. Nothing to get agitated over. Besides, the victims and the coin boxes have been through the wringer and are completely drained.
My guess is that they didn't break into the soaps for any announcements.

So how would that work? Since the “predominant race” on the South Side of Chicago ( and their leader, FUBO) don’t believe that any laws apply to them. The only way I see it working would be for “Non-Holder’s People” to be provided with firearms free of charge by the city.
Wait, I thought you couldn’t buy a gun within the Chicago city limits... More or less murder someone with one.... I am shocked I tell you, shocked.
