Utterly absurd. Impeach because you don’t like a ruling? Rulings of this type aren’t just about “bad people” they involve government secrecy etc. And a ruling you don’t like is NOT a reason to impeach a judge. Bet the Libs would LOVE impeaching 5 of the SCOTUS Justices. To be consistent I assume that’s OK with some of you?

Those of you calling for anarchy, have a good time with that. If you think you’ll win that one ... well, I needed a good laugh.

“The court’s reversal on Wednesday came hours after a resolution by an Oklahoma House member to try to impeach some of its justices.

In removing the stay, the court said the inmates had failed to demonstrate “actual injury” and that “the right of access to the courts does not include the right to discover a cause of action” to litigate.”

“Not satisfied with the Supreme Court’s reversal, articles of impeachment have been filed against the five justices who voted for the stay. The articles charge that they improperly exercised jurisdiction over a case in which the Court of Criminal Appeals had sole jurisdiction.”

“Sole Jurisdiction” are the key words!

Impeach because you don’t like a ruling?

More like impeach because a ruling is so wrong that the people that ruled that way need to be off the bench.

Your close association with the so called 'justice' system biases you.

I’m sure their constitution says their justices serve “on good behavior.” That’s their call if they find their behavior is beyond the pale.

I like Alabama’s system, where justices have to stand for election. The US Supremes have repeatedly made themselves political animals, and they should be treated accordingly. This depravedly “independent” judiciary at the national level is the one grave mistake our Founders made.

Years ago Californians voted out Chief Justice Rose Bird and two other judges sitting on the California Supreme court. Other than voting in Reagan twice, the best thing the state’s voters ever did.

Impeachment=Anarchy. I hadn’t heard that one. I guess the Big 0 is safe then.
I have no problem with the Okies impeaching judges that are insane. Matter of fact I am for impeaching everyone in the Big 0’s administration that can be impeached for unAmerican activities or whatever, just being ugly is enough for me.
I get the feeling that maybe freedom=anarchy with you. Tell me if I am wrong.

Seems pretty clear to me.....

Sole jurisdiction...means what it says.

Anarchy? Really? From an elected member of the Oklahoma House?

Since when is a co-equal branch of a government exercising its oversight power considered to be "anarchy?"

you do not impeach judges for rulings you do not like..

you impeach them for UNCONSTITUTIONAL rulings...

ginberg said she looks to foreign law for her rulings..

SHE should be impeached, along with a whole host of federal level judges..

but, the house will not even bring them up on charges..

because of thinking, just like...YOURS...

Judges often have No accountability.
Worthless political hacks get put in these positions then have various cases steered to them where they give horse crap legal positions which are most often overturned but still take forever to complete. By which time judge worthless is retired.
Hang em instead.
Sorry,just kidding.

Agree with that. However, the OK Supremes ruled it unconstitutional NOT to disclose the source of the drugs used in executions. ......Nothing about that involved the State constitution.
