I know what you mean - chaplains have a calm about them that helps to bring both peace and acceptance. They truly do God’s work, helping us understand and accept what is and what we do.
The leftists can not abide that thought. To them, we are tools to be used and cast aside when our edge blunts. Little people, if you like, of lesser worth because we are foolish enough to believe in such outmoded concepts as patriotism and duty and a higher power that does not require our votes and our tax dollars. They don’t like the competition.
My blessings to you and my hopes your recovery has been perfect.
