Obama needed a headline to mute the VA problem, so after a three year dance with the Taliban, he agreed to release all five bad guys so fast that he neglected to notify Congress per law. He can neglect Congress as he is Emperor/Dear Leader and the GOP is toothless.

It wasn't a "secret". CBS reported on the exact framework of the deal in 2012. Barry was just saving it for when he needed maximum distraction -- i.e. the VA Scandal.

Bergdahl is the subject of a proposed prisoner swap in which he would be traded for five Taliban adherents imprisoned by the United States at the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The Taliban have walked away from the deal and larger negotiations with the United States, but the Obama administration is still pushing a negotiated settlement between the Taliban and the U.S.-backed government in Afghanistan.

So negotiations for Bergdahl's release have been underway for three years, huh? Then why did a "A senior administration official" excuse the President for violating a law he himself signed by telling the WaPo, “Due to a near-term opportunity to save Sergeant Bergdahl’s life, we moved as quickly as possible,” the official said. “The administration determined that given these unique and exigent circumstances, such a transfer should go forward notwithstanding the notice requirement.”

Somehow something just doesn't seem right.

It took three years, and the deal coincidentally finally closed on the weekend that the VA scandal is destroying Obamugabe. WTF-ever.

I just saw his father on Fox. He hasn't talked to his son and won't for a long time. He said Bo has been away a very long time and if he comes back too fast it could kill him.

Oh, no doubt there’s been talking going on for years. But, why were they released now?

The Benghazi committee starts up, and these guys get released.

Hillary and Obama were up to no good when they overthrew the government of Libya. Al Qaeda and Putin smacked them in the mouth at Benghazi. During the surrender negotiations, they let Hillary and Obama know they had the goods on them. That’s when the blackmailing started. $5,000,000,000 “missing from the State Department? American weapons, armored vehicles and night vision equipment left unguarded several months ago in Libya so they could be “stolen”? Now, five bad actors released? Our chickenshit President is paying blackmail. Thanks to him and Hillary for putting us in this situation.

Al Qaeda has those antiaircraft missiles and they are threatening to use them. Hillary and Obama are paying them to keep them quiet. The rest of the Democrats and the Republicans and the press and the bureaucrats are going along because they’re scared to death of the airline industry being shut down.

OK. Maybe that’s the way it is. Maybe we have to pay blackmail. But we sure as hell don’t have to keep the s**theads who brought this on in power. And we sure as hell don’t have to be treated like frightened children. We’re Americans. We need the truth to make reasoned decisions including who we vote for.
