That's pretty bold...50 dollars...!!!

Last week in Tampa I was approached to give a guy $20 to gas up his car for some bogus reason...

I blew him off politely, he came back a few minutes later looking for bus fare money...

This time I told "Dude, I carry. back off"

He just about ran away...

BTW, I used to live in cowtown...great town...

We were visiting Dallas over the Memorial Day holiday and had this happen to us twice in the 3 days we were there.

The last time someone came up to me begging for money at a gas station, I told him I had no money to spare because I was using a stolen credit card to fuel up a stolen car ... and I was hoping I'd have enough gas to make it to the Canadian border before the owner reported his stolen car and wallet to the police.

You can imagine the kind of look I got before that guy quickly walked away.

For a while it was big here in Calif too. Guy would come up to you with a gas can and ask if you would give him a gallon of gas while you were pumping.

I would see them coming and look them in the eye and shake my head and say, “NO!”. Occasionally they would get abusive but if they came in range they were gunna get doused with gasoline.

Hasn’t happened in a while though.

Wow, this happens to me fairly often in a decent part of Fort Worth next to a not-so-decent part. Usually I’m being “profiled.”
