When I told him no, he went to the next pump, then all the way down the line. When I left he was approaching people in parked cars. Unfortunately the beggers have all descended to gas stations. They curse you out if you don’t give them anything. My city has become a magnet for bums drawn to our sanctuary city status. It’s time to move.

It seems the minimum is about $5 now at some intersections in Newark NJ; smarter people are all buttoned up when they come to a red light, but some naive people can’t secure their vehicle by the time they realize what has happened (the gibsmedat is already halfway through their window).
At one point in the summer I saw a Hindu selling flowers, a Hispanic selling cold bottled water, and a black guy just asking for money all at the same intersection...
