President Obama announced today that White House Press Secretary Jay Carney will depart as press secretary.
Obama, who interrupted the White House briefing as Carney was taking questions, said Principal Deputy White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest will take his place. Carney seemed surprised by the interruption.
Carney said he would leave soon, probably the second or third week of June. He will leave the White House but says he has not decided where he will go.
“It’s been an amazing experience, just, so fulfilling,” Carney said, thanking the president and vice president.

No one will ever have to worry about Josh Earnest doing something that stupid. Earnest will tell a lie even when the truth sounds better than the lie.

Somebody needs to post the ‘The White Wash’ picture. I have it but I can’t find it right now.
They need to put the”Dude” guy in charge for Carney. He inadvertently swerves from time to time to tell the truth. Mind you, he does not mean to tell the truth. He is simply backed into a corner and does not think on his feet.
Carney needed to go a year ago! But, the next dude will be worse-—Problem isn’t the spokesman—its the Guy in Charge.
Why do we need a press secretary anyway...why not just have the liar in chief come out and tell his owns fibs and whoppers.
Probably already has a job waiting for him in the ABC newsroom!
He needs the time to confess all his lies to a priest.

There is no “shred” in this man. No decency, no honor. His reporterette wife and his children should be sorely ashamed of him, but they aren’t.
They, Obama’s clandestine disinformation and dissemble ops unit realizes this. That’s why he’s going to be a ‘former’ government employee and can indiscriminately lie outside of the usual lying press briefing environment (where all lies are okay) without having to be compelled as a government employee to tell the truth.
He will have to be demonstrably proven a liar which will be damned near impossible to prove to have anything stick to him. And, there is a snowball’s chance in hell that anything he lies about will get connected back to Obama.
There is no down for Carney. He’s as far down as he can get.
