President Obama announced Friday that White House Press Secretary Jay Carney is leaving the Obama administration.
The President crashed the White House briefing to make the announcement.
He praised Carney for his "good heart" and "temperament" as he dealt with the media.
"I'm going to miss him a lot," Obama added about Carney, 49, who took over as the President's chief spokesman in January 2011.

I think that Carney was very very good at his job.
I detest his perspective but he was unflappable
Course he rarely got hard pressed from the politburo press
I’m pretty sure I caught Svengoolie on MeTV last week. He was the Chicago (BERRR-WYNNN!) iteration of the late night horror host. His schtick is telling jokes from a cardboard coffin until the rubber chickens come flying in.
Was it vintage or a revival of the show?

What’s in a name? A josh by any other name would be as earnest.
Does anyone here know the story behind the story? I know it was rumored for some time, but this is surely odd.
I fight against my natural inclination to pessimism. So, I hope that Jay rediscovered his lost integrity. No doubt, there’s other ways to speculate. I expect there’s somer serious money out there.
