President Obama announced Friday that White House Press Secretary Jay Carney is leaving the Obama administration.
The President crashed the White House briefing to make the announcement.
He praised Carney for his "good heart" and "temperament" as he dealt with the media.
"I'm going to miss him a lot," Obama added about Carney, 49, who took over as the President's chief spokesman in January 2011.

Ours went through two iterations. The first had “Count Shockula” and began airing before I was born. The host was so successful he was hired away by a station in a larger market, Tampa, where he became Dr. Paul Bearer and had a very long run. Very dry wit, sort of an undertaker spoof of Vincent Price.
Deadly Ernest was the replacement host. He was goofy, obviously fake fangs, not nearly as polished as his predecessor but more cartoonish and therefore more amusing for kids. It ran all through the seventies and into the early 80’s.
I’d have never seen some of those wacky 50’s horror movies if not for that show. Loved it.
If he did a similar show in Tampa at one point, it’s the same guy.
Now this is totally unexpected. I wonder what precipitated it.
Used to work close to Obama but now pretends he is a good family man while supporting policies that will make life extremely difficult and deadly for the children that are growing up now. Yes, his kids too. Just because you take a major role in implementing satan’s programs does not make you and your family exempt from his torture and wrath.

Probably the slickest and slimiest liar in Obama’s close circle of Marxist/communist/Islam implementing partners-in-crime.
But he's too close to, and important to, Obama for him to be thrown to the White House loving media lapdogs.
After watching some clips of Carney yesterday I can see why Obama threw him out.
Something inside of him made it difficult for him to lie convincingly anymore. [Not that he was ever very good at it from a conservative perspective]
He looked like he was about to break like a porcelain pawn.
Tony Snow, freeper and press Secretary did a fine job for Bush.
