This scandal is getting traction because, unlike F&F or Benghazi, or IRS, it probably did NOT originate in the White House, so the press feels they can jump on it, in a weak way, of course.

Under Obama, we get stories about "how will this affect Obama?"

The responsibility for this particular scandal is diffused among very many people, many of them not at the very top.

Responsibility for stuff like Bengazi is concentrated in the hands of a tiny view at the tippy-top and so coverage has been quashed.

State-controlled media has strategically chosen the VA scandal for their focus because it can't be directly traced to Ubama. He didn't tell the VA to do anything. He just ignored them. It's not something that can bring down his administration.

The IRS scandal, however, leads straight to the White Hut. They won't touch that one with a ten-foot pole, because it could bring him down.

They're just distracting us. They don't really care about the vets. They're just toying with us.
