Unbelievable....But if you’re an illegal, you can walk into any emergency room and get a better result.
Just had an FB note from an old HS Classmate in which he posts the cover of a 1989 Sunset Magazine that he found in the waiting room at a the local VA Hospital here in NorCal. He was here from his home in Vietnam (where he has been in business since the end of the war there) to have a knee replacement. The VA told him that it would be at least a year’s wait for the surgery, so he went to a local hospital and had the surgery immediately. Don’t know how it was paid for, but I will find out at breakfast tomorrow. He said he hopes that the guy who brought the 1989 magazine isn’t still there waiting for an appointment!
