In a broad defense of his foreign policy, President Barack Obama declared Wednesday that the U.S. remains the world's most indispensable nation, even after a "long season of war," but argued for restraint before embarking on more military adventures.

Hmm, Obama is weak. But I can't say I was for intervention in Syria. There has to be a serious medium, and he's never come close to finding or hitting that.

Yeah, I assumed this was going to be a fund set up by “member nations” as in - the US wasn’t footing the entire bill. If that’s not the case, then I ask WTF? Surely we can find better use for the money.

Actually, I think America has always used restraint. If we crashed into Mexico or Canada with 3 divisions, that would be lack of restraint. Napoleon showed lack of restraint. Hitler showed lack of restraint. America has never been like that.
