My idiot brother in law thought it was going to be great, also. That is until he found out it would be $750.00 per month with a $13,000.00 deductible.
A $13K deductible??? Whoa! With $9K per year premiums that’s $22K out of pocket before the insurance pays a dime. (not counting any co-pays) Insane!
“...he found out it would be $750.00 per month with a $13,000.00 deductible.”
Ye-oww! Just think what that kind of money still buys today. That would finance a very nice car, easily feed a family of four, or pay a big chunk of a mortgage payment.
My neighbor too. Big Obama donor, etc. Couldn’t wait to sign up.
Daughter as hurt in a softball game, hit in the face and had to have MRI, X-ray and a few hours of observation - that’s when he looked at the fine print on his “new” insurance policy and found out HIS deductible was something like $7,000.
He got a straight up bill for $2,500 that he’s expected to pay right now. Had to cancel his summer vacation and all.
Luckily, the kid was OK and only had a few bruises for about a week.
re: idiot brother in law
Did he blame those dastardly Republicans & their sequester, etc. , etc. ??
Libs ALWAYS have to blame somebody else; it couldn’t be their own stoopidity
