Fine with me — just so the entire school day is devoted to learning about and honoring America’s military heroes.
I’ll guarantee the left wing educrats had no thought of having school on MLK, Jr. Day. As Memorial Day (Decoration Day) used to be, the students & staff should proceed to the nearest cemetery with war dead and beautify their gravesites.
I would be surprised if a quarter of the kids showed up. Unfortunately, teachers don’t have a choice. I know I would be mad as a teacher and a veteran who knows the sacrifices others gave for this country.
Interestingly, the schools in my town don't close on MLK Day.
Read some of the tweets, these dummies should be in school all year round.
I'm guessing no one thought of having the snow make-up days before the snow days.
