EXCLUSIVE While Santa Barbara killer “rotted in loneliness,” his father, Peter Rodger, was anything but unable to enjoy women.

The knee jerk brigade will of course jump to numerous conclusions knowing little of the facts, but he does appear to be a good photographer, and the ass shots are only a portion of his portfolio.

You know it. What's the difference between this and some of the works of Michelangelo, Titian, Raphael, and Da Vinci?

I'm not an authority or anything but I am a photographer and an observer. Basically I think I would call his photography semi pro and very good. As far as his nudes being pornographic I don't know or care. They simply don't interest me.

One that many here would probably consider obscene without any knowledge is "The Wedding dance" painted in 1566 by Pieter Bruegel the Elder.

The painting depicts a peasant wedding party and dancing which were forbidden by the church at that time. The Peasants got married and ran off into the woods to have their parties. The peasant class was seen as oversexed and overindulgent at that time and they reacted to the upper class derision with oversized codpieces as an insult to the upper classes.

Interestingly enough, this single painting could have more than paid off Detroit's immediate debt if the Detroit institute of art had been willing to sell it. It was recently appraised at $200 million.

Nude models don't actually drop their drawers. It's not perverted except to a pervert or a prude.

And I am thinking you are the latter.

Nailed it.

That is just not normal behavior for a healthy adult male. Somebody has some serious issues to go to such lengths to protest and demonize a few artistic female nudes.

Believe me that’s temporary...even Charlie Sheen ain’t looking too good these days...a few more wrinkles and he’s toast in the Hollywood beauty contests cause it’s the ‘pinch, pull, scrape, and botox world”... just look at Pelosi. If her face gets pulled any tighter or further back her hairline will recede to baldness.

That is disgusting!;-)

Look at that...all the dancing and fun and even kissing...simply disgusting.

Not unlike most weddings today.

Regardless of his son’s psychotic behavior, the father is a good photographer.

PS For the non-photographer, nude photographis has always been a major challenge, one that quickly separates the photographer from the casual snapshooter and the amateur porn shooter.

On that subject, I had a similar revelation when I saw Norman Rockwell's paintings at the museum in Stockbridge, MA.

Through the years, I had seen thousands of variants of his work (posters, pictures in magazines, etc) but never the actual real paintings.

When I did, I was amazed. They were beautiful, and the level of detail is remarkable. I was particularly taken by this painting below:

I had seen this one many times, but when I saw the real thing, it made the reproductions pale in comparison.

The son is correct, humanity is wretched and depraved. He’s a product of it.

“Oh poor me, nobody noticed me! WAH WAH WAH I hate all of you.”

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA good riddance puke. Too bad it cost some good lives though.

When this ‘oh so concerned Hollywood liberal elite’ wanted a ‘mental health’ check-up on monster boy, the police were called.

Daddy wants to blame the NRA and conservatives... and probably the cops. Guess he taught his son well - that it’s always best to blame everyone else.... Son monster blames the girls... Daddy blames the NRA...

ALL the mass murderers are the sons of democrats... or they’re democrats.... NOT ONE mass killer is the son of an NRA member...

Not one.

My personal Rockwell favorite is "Russian Schoolroom". Some serious social commentary all in one face.

Grow up and stop being deliberately obtuse. It's pornography. I dare you to post the pictures on this thread. Guaranteed the mods will delete your post at the least. Possibly they'll suspend your account.

Do it. If the pictures are all that innocent, you'll have nothing to fear.

How about a reference as to what verses you have in mind.

At my age, I don't feel the slightest twinge of lust looking at a tasteful artistic representation of a woman's body.

I see 87 verses with the word naked.

You can look them up at:

http://www.biblegateway.com/keyword/?version=KJV&search=naked&searchtype=all&language1=en&spanbegin=1&spanend=73&startnumber=1

Nakedness is consistently associated with shame.

I see 147 verses containing the word image:

http://www.biblegateway.com/keyword/?version=KJV&search=image&searchtype=all&language1=en&spanbegin=1&spanend=73&startnumber=1

The images consistently referred to as being good or righteous are that of heaven, Christ, and God, or the various articles directed by God specifically for temple worship of ancient Israel, as far as I can quickly see. There could be others, I just made a quick visual sweep.

All other occurrences are consistently used in the sense of describing vanity and grave sin.

The Bible expressly commands us to not do as heathens and pagans do, i.e., to disregard what the Metropolitan Museum and the throngs of heathens tell us about what is acceptable and what is not.

Blessings on this Lord's Day.
