TUCSON, AZ - Captain Mark Kelly has spoken on the Isla Vista shooting in California. The Co-Founder of Americans for Responsible Solutions released the following statement:

Oh my...well, we coulda guessed it from the Cindy Sheehan of opportunistic, self-enriching gun control mania.....
I wonder if being a money whore is part of the NASA psychological testing?
Other than that, he needs to pipe down.
Uh, who is this doosh?
Kelly wants to cash in on his wife’s tragedy. Look for him to run for Senate in AZ when McCain’s seat is up again. Tragedy whore.
Looks like Moonbeam’s gun confiscators missed one. I’m shocked!
Right on cue to dance in the blood of the victims. It’s what the left does best. Recruit more emotionally vulnerable victims as pawns to forward a political agenda based on raw emotion and no logic.
Waiting for Kelly to come out on KNIFE CONTROL!
Ya, what’s with the rush to politicize a tragedy such as this?
I know the Alinsky playbook says don’t let a crisis go to waste and all that, but maybe America is tired of Saul Alinsky horse blank.
We have problems in this country, and a horrific event shakes us to the core, but, now is not the time to revive the gun control debate.
And traction control since he ran one victim down with his car.
"Gabby and I are praying for the victims of last night's horrific tragedy in Isla Vista. Every time we learn of another senseless shooting like this one, our hearts break and we know that no words will bring peace to the families who lost loved ones. Like so many in the Isla Vista community, we are angry and shocked. But we are also grateful to the first responders who acted with such courage last night. We are hoping for strength for those who were injured."Americans for Responsible Solutions (ARS) is working across the country to build an organization with millions of people committed to finding sensible ways to reduce gun violence and encouraging elected officials to enact responsible firearms policies that protect the Second Amendment. Today, ARS stands more than 500,000 strong.
Waiting for Kelly to come out again whiners who can't get laid.
Rich kid like that couldn’t get himself a hooker?
Mark Kelly: astronaut, baby seal killer, putz.
What’s Up!
The kid admitted real problems on video. Many cases of video are used to call CPS and take kids, evidence for murder, “threats to the prezzy”, etc.
But he seemed OK to the Deputies, not enough for a 5150.
In CA, it should have been easy for Deputies to call DOJ, find out he has 3 9-mm pistols, and go get them (if they wanted to). So the laws and mechanisms ARE in place. Don’t need more. Need less liberal Santa Barbara treatment, i.e., respect of the elites.
And I write this as 2A supporter.
Maybe if this deranged kid’s father was not a whining Hollywood metrosexual but a real man this tragedy could have been avoided. A real man before he called the police would have marched into his lunatic son’s apartment confiscated the guns, stopped the funding that made the BMW and drugs possible and handled the situation in a definitive manner. Instead the wimp blames the NRA. No wonder the West is in decline.
Agree about his statements. It’s his stance I object to. But I guess being the “head” of such a stellar organization, the local newsies sought him out for a comment. How about we work on a way to reduce “violence” in general. It’s as if “gun violence” is the issue and not violence itself.
Ask Astronaut Senator (Rat,Fla.) Bill Nelson. He was AWOL when zip shut down the the shuttle program, and whoops, AWOL again on the Florida VA accusations.
I’ve always been puzzled by elected and unelected people who like to either issue statements or go before the cameras to issue statements over events like this latest slaughter.
They never point to God, who is the only one who can comfort in situations like this. They like to proclaim their own hurt, which outweighs and is more important, than the hurt of the entire nation, and then proceed to promote their pet remedy. Am I being cynical?
