Speaking about the Donald Sterling scandal with the Clippers, and how the country has evolved in terms of race relations, Cuban touched on a hot topic when he said, 'Were all prejudice in one way or another. If I see a black kid in a hoodie, and its late at night, Im walking to the other side of the street.'
...."In hindsight I should have used different examples. I didn't consider the Trayvon Martin family, and I apologize to them for that. Beyond apologizing to the Martin family, I stand by the words and the substance of the interview,"

More seriously, I’ve always respected Mark as an owner. I know he detests the Lakers, but the guy has always been focused on making the Mavs a winning team. He’s like the anti Don Sterling.
I could give my opinion, but I think the NSA, and other government scum bags are watching. It really sucks, that it comes down to that, doesn't it?
“Trayvon was a thug and a gangsta wannabe. Cuban didnt mention his name in the interview. He talked about hoodies. Is that something only Trayvon wears?” Im so sick of this shit.

Liberals are getting shriller as they feel the race card losing it’s power... Same things happening with global warming alarmist... the newest one there is they say we’ll have to eat dead bodies because of global warming. Liberals are nuts.
Trayvon was a hoodie-wearing thug; so why apologize.
Cuban should have responded:
“I don’t much care what other people think.”
An asteroid? Shouldn’t they name a Black Hole after him?
Ah, but it might be racist to name a black hole after Trayvon. .......
Isn’t it racist to call them black holes????
Once I said something about black coffee, and one of my son’s friends, they were little boys at the time, said that it was racist to say black coffee.
And I was taken aback, and said to the little boy, what should I say, African-American coffee? He had no comeback, but this reminds me, that our children are being influenced by liberalism in many ways you might not think about.
“When will Jesse Jackson apologize to black folks for his fear of them?”
“If I see a black kid in a hoodie, and its late at night, Im walking to the other side of the street.’’, is almost verbatim what Jackson said a few years back.
“Dude, this was like two years ago.”
Wuss.
There is nothing more painful to me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps... then turn around and see somebody white and feel relieved. ― Jesse Jackson
So, "Reverend", get out in your own "community" and push for civilized behavior by your young, instead of attacking Whitey.
Mark Cuban didn’t apologize. He said it was insensitive to Trevon Martin’s parents. Cuban stood by the substance of his comments.
Well, thank goodness Adam Silver has set a precedent for this type of conduct. Looks like the Mavericks are now ‘for sale’ too.
In most cases whites that are putting up with this are the racists, over-compensating for their attitudes toward race by being afraid to practice free speech. Isn't it degrading to blacks to assume they can't handle an honest conversation?
Assuming the cowardly NBA owners vote out Sterling, I see it as the beginning of the end of the NBA as anything but a boutique sports interest for some Americans. Sterling's comments reflected a feeling of inferiority about his ex girl-friend being seen with blacks, reinforcing a stereotype of the superior attributes of black men. I'd say it's racism against white men from an old white guy expressing his personal feeling of inadequacy compared to black men.
Then there's the free speech situation. I'd be very surprised if any of these white NBA owners haven't said or done something that could make them the next target of some rich black celebrity that wants an NBA team. I wonder if they won't end up selling out, rather than risk that....these owners didn't get their money by being stupid or perfect.
