Aliens almost definitely exist.
At least, that's what two astronomers told Congress this week, as they appealed for continued funding to research life beyond Earth.
According to ABC News, Dan Werthimer, director of the SETI [search for extraterrestrial intelligence] Research Center at the University of California, Berkeley, told the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology Wednesday that the possibility of extraterrestrial microbial life is "close to 100 percent."
"In the last 50 years, evidence has steadily mounted that the components and conditions we believe necessary for life are common and perhaps ubiquitous in our galaxy," said Werthimer in his written testimony, adding: "The possibility that life has arisen elsewhere, and perhaps evolved intelligence, is plausible and warrants scientific inquiry."
Werthimer's colleague Seth Shostak, a senior astronomer at the SETI Institute, also told Congress that he believes our chances of finding extraterrestrial life are high.
“The chances of finding it I think are good and if that happens it will happen in the next 20 years depending on the financing,” Shostak told the committee.

Totally different requirements for life could also be a reason why far superior intelligent life forms have not visited earth.

These guys are merely trying to continue their gravy train while ignoring the evidence already found on Earth’s Moon, Mars, a Moon of Mars, the Moons of Saturn, etc. NASA has controlled the data allowed out to the public and these mooches know they can count on the great lie to continue so they should get funding for their aiding and abetting the lie. Does this mean that if you’re a SETI scientist, it’s just fine to believe in invisible sky fairies you’ve never found evidence of? Just asking.
Mathematically it’s gotta happen. The only real question is how FAR out there? Could be a very very long way.
Radio telescopes are WWII technology. Let's see quantum telescopes. Send half the entangled particles out to space, keep the other half and amplify their signals.

The same source gives us several scenes which bespeak other spacetime realms no further away from us than the length of your arm. But we do not sense them. Why? Now there’s a question these self-proclaimed brilliant scientists should be researching.
That is essentially the point of putting all those together -
there ARE “inhabited” worlds.
Problem with the Fermi Paradox is it never really grasps just how big things are even at a “practical” pace of interstellar travel it’s a long haul. Not to mention that it completely ignores the fact that as of yet we have no idea how long it takes to get from beginning to have science to a practical pace of interstellar travel if such a thing is even possible.
