This can be expected from the members Pelosi placed on the committee. Deflect and blame others while protecting Obama and Hillary.

Wow! Committee hasn’t even met the first time, and already the dhimmicraps are tossing out the race card.

Again, people... It’s not about color or ethnicity. It’s about lame-brained, left-tard, progressive, socialist policies and politics that are destroying this once great nation.

Listen up, a$$hats.

What a stupid person he is. Reconstruction was a very difficult time for everybody, but actually, it was the Republicans, particularly from the North (the Carpetbaggers) who were trying either to ameliorate or to benefit from it, either personally or politically. They got a lot of the Freedmen into power (I’m not saying this was good, just telling you the historical situation), and while there was corruption, a lot of the efforts were aimed at rebuilding.

The Dems were actually the ones who despised blacks so much that they couldn’t tolerate them being in any position of responsibility. Then somehow they took them over, rewrote history, and are now sacred among the black population. You can’t be considered really “black,” I gather, unless you’re a Dem.

This kind of crap just irritates the hell out of me.

Wrong or right, things like reconstruction, affirmative action or welfare were never intended to be a way of life.

Any democrat who wants to see racism, need only look in the nearest mirror.

This is why pelozi picked Clyburn to be on the committtee. He just throws this kind of mud on the wall in an attempt to deflect from the real issue.

His desperation of playing the race card shows just how worried the dims are about these hearings.

These guys love the race card.

They played the race card? I can't believe it.

Who would have ever thought that Clyburn and the Demon Ratz would play the race card.

Didn't see that coming.

Let me get this straight. The Benghazi investigation is actually an effort to end some sort of Reconstruction.

This genius just needs to point out all of the valuable structures that the current Reconstructers have erected.

Glad to see that the Dems are going to be there.. they absolutely cannot let the Committee succeed. I'll get to watch the aged 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus radical, psycho spoiled brats (along with their ideological issue) in action again!

Not likely to see Mau-Mauing on the Committee itself but the audience will be stacked with disruptors.

What a maroon! Didn't anyone ever tell him that Reconstruction was instituted to ensure Blacks did not become second class citizens after the Civil War? It was the Democrats who insisted on ending it so the GOP could get a resolution to the razor thin election of 1876.

We even had a handful of Black men playing professional baseball (roughly 70 years before Jackie Robinson) and serving in both Houses of Congress before the end of Reconstruction morphed into the beginning of Jim Crow.

OMG, it’s the Night Riders all over again!

Clyburn and his fellow travelers reek of desperation. Their fear has the odor of defeat.

I think the Dems are really scared of something they think will come out. Some of the things they have said is over the top, even by Dem standards...

Benghazi, VA, IRS scandal, Marxist _resident in the White Hut...

...the kinds of things that led to the Secession in 1860-61.....will cross the Reconstruction bridge after WE WIN.

Show me ONE that does not love the race card.

When it is all you have to go with and it works so well, why not?

’ Reconstruction ‘ was one of the worst events to ever blight U.S. history . It was a period of unparalleled corruption and created an extended depression and poverty in the South that only recently has ended . It had nothing to do with altruistic ‘reconstruction’ , but was a blatant cynical effort to utterly subjugate a large segment of the American population and steal all that they still had , all that the carpetbaggers could grab with both hands . There was not a noble thing about .
Robert E. Lee later said that “ If I had known what was going to happen , I would have not surrendered “
It might have helped if he’d also fought more effectively on certain occasions . The wrong side won in 1865.
