I am a diehard Texas Tea Party conservative and have the flags and guns to prove it... I did not and will not vote for John Coryn now or in the future...
I’m expecting Dan Patrick to upset “Dirty” Dewhurst for TX Lieutenant Governor, setting him up perfectly to defeat John Cornyn’s next re-election bid for US Senator.
My household has cast its last votes for Cornyn.
That answer is “no”
It’s easy as ABC......
Anybody But Cornyn!
He’s half right. I’m not Republican, but I am conservative. Cornyn is one of the Republicans who may just be able to keep Republicans from getting a majority in a wave election, by making those who would create that wave disinterested. It is not conservative to vote for liberal Republican establishment; at best it is a strategy. The strategy is this: prevent Democrats from advancing marxism by electing people who will not advance it, in hopes that eventually, we will elect people who will begin moving in the other direction. However, that strategy is no longer working. The GOPe does move in the marxist direction now, it i not content to simply hold the line. And, there is never going to be a day when we move in the other direction, if we work within a party controlled by the GOPe. It’s time for a new strategy.
“..Anyone who calls themselves Conservative or Republican, who doesnt vote for the nominee of the party in the general election is neither. ...”
My answer to Cornyn: “Anyone Republican who promotes “reaching across the aisle”, “working in bipartisan fashion”, and calls the Democrats “my colleagues across the aisle” and does anything remotely beneficial to their agenda ISN’T a Republican, nor an American, and needs to be thrown out of office at the first opportunity.”
Pretty simple.
Can Cornyn unite me with his friends the Democrats? No.
Loyalty is a one-way street for the RINOs and the Establishment. They own the party, they are entitled, we owe them our vote. Then they are free to do anything they want to screw over GOP voters. It’s great!
John Cornyn is neither as far as I am concerned
>>the worst leader of the Senate in modern history
Wasn’t that Daschle?
