Pentagon is weighing allowing some immigrants brought illegally to the country as youths to serve in the military, a unilateral step by the Obama administration as immigration legislation remains stalled in the Republican-led House.
The announcement came Tuesday as House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, defended his election-year decision to rebuff a narrow immigration measure pushed by a GOP congressman to achieve a similar goal.
The Pentagon consideration would apply to immigrants who arrived illegally as kids but already have received work permits and relief from deportation under a program President Barack Obama announced two years ago, called Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA. More than 500,000 immigrants have benefited from the program. …

Exactly! It is very hard to get in the military right now. There is no reason (other than political) to let them in the military.

The DOD already announced they are scaling back in enlisted men and now these illegals are being hired? They’re loyalty is to their banana republic countries whence they came from.

This actually fits in very well with a grab for totalitarian control. Filling the military with America-haters effectively sidelines organizations such as Oath Keepers. These illegals might have less qualms about firing upon US citizens.
Sure, we are rejecting 80% of American applicants, and who needs all this security checking stuff, and character requirements, and eliminating criminals who are secretly living here.
Valerie Jarrett knows this all too well. Along with her commands to The Puppet in Chief to reduce the military and restrict new recruitment, she is putting in place the means to destroy our military from within...and America along with it.
Some say America is doomed. I say we had best get a real Conservative in the WH as fast as possible so some serious house cleaning can be done through all levels of this government. Then shrink it. If not, THEN we are doomed.
Because enlisting foreign barbarians in the military worked out so well for the Roman Empire?
