Our VETS getting stabbed in the back again ..... there is the possibility that there is enough patriotic rage and regard for our military that this will stick to Obama, as it should. If it does, our heroes ironically and tragically will have come to America’s aid once again and some will have given their lives for their country as a result.
“The encouraging thing is that all the comments are ripping him. Every one. Does that mean folks like us are dominating the comments? His constiutents don’t own a PC? Or is America finally waking up? “
Let’s hope so! It’s long past time when “being Black” can still be used to cover your own a$$! I mean after more than 5 years, people should start looking around and say to themselves, “things are not better.”
With respect to the VA, the vets who have been denied care should start the equivalent of “Swift Boat Vets” and start holding press conferences. The lady whose vet husband died and “she’s pissed” sends a very powerful message that can probably be repeated thousands of times.
Pick one:
IRS
DOJ
EPA
VA
ACA
Secret Service
White House
Yeah sure, right after you catch those Benghazi terrorists.
Pray America wakes up
“Any misconduct at __________ will be punished”
The political ads write themselves!
Yes, they need to find the individual who made the video that no doubt caused the dysfunction at the VA and bring him to justice immediately.
We need a million vets from all generations to march on the District of Chaos and occupy it until this mess is cleaned up. Such a dramatic demonstration might even have the added benefit of ultimately bringing down this rotten administration.
Woman Refused Medication Because Obamacare Says She’s a Man...
A report that aired on Asheville, NC ABC affiliate WLOS on Tuesday detailed the plight of college student Shelby Higdon, who under ObamaCare was refused medicine because of a gender mix-up within the ObamaCare provider’s system, which according to Higdon could not be fixed due to bureaucratic red tape.
“When it was time to get my medicine, they told me that they couldn’t give it to me because on my insurance I was registered as a man,” Higdon said.
Close to what I’m thinking...
Define “misconduct” and the person(s) accused or guilty of said “misconduct”.
In this case, I believe the “misconduct” being referred to here is the reporting of the abuse and neglect...it makes Dear Leader look bad...whistleblowers can’t and won’t be tolerated.
Expect a bunch of retaliation in some very creative ways...
...and so? “What difference does it make?”...
The VA has willfully murdered vets through denial of service and mistreatment for at least 40 years. Its not “a few facilities” at the present time as Obama claims, its the whole damned system everywhere.
So why now? What would be the motivation for a politician, known to despise the American military and its veterans, to suddenly care, to suddenly have a great awakening to VA misconduct and why has the mainstream media suddenly become so patriotic in getting behind this issue?
I see a couple of posters calling for the VA to be shut down. Obamas comments in his address today seemed to carefully insinuate that very suggestion at times. Why? Is the entire point to in fact shut down the VA to get all of those vets forced into Obamacare? Remember, this mess was originally Hillarycare. Are the same insurance companies, that were behind her and likely behind Obama, expecting some type of monetary gain in this big public/private cooperative fascist wet dream?
Is the VA not the problem Obama is trying to fix at all? Is the problem actually that too many know how the VA has operated. Has this malfeasance become so emblematic that it is one of the primary reasons people wont enroll in Obamacare? By feigning committed devotion to this VA issue is he protecting his legacy and protecting his benefactors investments?
So a “few” vets died recently and “few” more have recently been mistreated, really, “what difference does it make?” The fact is that the VA has operated as it was intended to for a long time or it wouldn’t have been allowed to abuse veterans for decades...so why now?
Will “the punishment” extend all the way to the top of the Chain of Command?
Or will “the punishment” be deflected downward to those who are at the bottom of this?
If past performance stays true, there will be NO punishment, only another tongue-lashing by Obama for those at the bottom who made bone-headed decisions, and new permanent Federal Regulations “to make sure that this never happens again.”
His speech sure sounded like more of the same.
The gullible may listen, but they never hear - - - .
Oh, okay.
Will VA Secretary Eric Shinseki soon be pleading the fifth?
I seem to remember being lectured by Michael Dukakis that "the fish rots from the head down." I suppose that doesn't apply now.
Wrong answer
What a dipstick
You need to fix the problems not make threats like some North Korean loony tune
Hey, he really punished those Benghazi guys didn’t he?
