Some people are basically cheerleading for McConnell to lose, which frankly makes me sick. Such myopia. I guess they’d like the democrats to have about 70 or 80 Senate seats, that would be swell and make America better for sure!

Mitch McConnell received a 92 vote rating from the ACU in 2013 and a 100 ACU rating in 2012, and his lifetime ACU rating over his 29 years in the Senate us a tad above 90. Grimey (as she prefers to be called) is a libeal record who surely would compile an ACU score below 10 if disgruntled conservatives cut off their noses, eyes and ears to spite their faces and elect her to the Senate. Senate terms run for six years, so Kentuckians wouldn’t be able to replace her with a conservative until January of 2021 at the earliest, and given how all female Democrats elected to the Senate from Southern and border states during the past 20 years all have been reelected their first time (Landrieu in LA, Lambert Lincoln in AR and McCaskill in MO; Tillis should break the curse by beating Hagan in NC this November), Grimey would have a fighting chance at reelection in 2020 (who would have thought back in 2006 that Tester of MT could have been reelected in 2012?). Oh, and control of the Senate is in the line not only this November, but in 2016 (when Republicans have to defend quite a few competitive seats), so we need not only to capture the Senate this November, but get to 53 or 54 seats so as to keep that majority past 2016.
For these reasons, and many others, it is retarded for conservatives to be considering doing anything other than supporting McConnell’s reelection.
