McConnell, 67,870 59%

Rand Paul backed McConnell in exchange for a seat on the foreign relations committee. Had he backed Bevin, this race would have turned out differently. Paul shouldn't have stabbed the conservative in the back like that.

I know you are probably right, but with a screen name like CaptainPaintBall, it's real hard to take you serious. ;)

They should have a rule that any member in Senate or House GOP who gets under 60% can not be in leadership.

“Don’t get me wrong. I agree! But, not by putting a democrat in his place.”

If McConnell were a back-bencher with his voting record, we could all support him. But he’s going to be the leader, and he’s ceded all kinds of power to the Senate Majority position because he thought he would have all that power by now. But unfortunately for him, all those great and wonderful establishment candidates went down in flames in 2012.

A man that lusts after power so much should never be granted it. So McConnell should be removed from the Senate in November, and the only way now is by the democrat. If I lived in Kentucky, I would withhold my vote, leave my ballot blank, as I did here with Scott Brown.

Imagine Grimes' acceptance speech: "..Uhh, I'd like to thank all the crossover Republicans first, as this victory would not have been possible without them, and, secondly, my Democratic supporters, who turned out at about 60% of my Republican supporters, which without both of these we would not be celebrating, and..'

LOL

Well, McConnell sees the Tea Party as more of an enemy than the radical left. Some people would be willing to let the democrat win and deal with her next time than to let a man like McConnell stay in office for one more day.

There should be a rule against people who are always suggesting there should be a rule against something.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Did the GOP run a GOTV drive at the local loony bins? Really, who the hell are these people and what is their major malfunction?

Grimes has 150k to Mitch’s 90k.

Mitch may as well retire. Nobody likes him.

Erick is WRONG this time..he should have sent the $$ to Chris McDaniel..

Erick explained it on his radio show. He follows the Buckley rule of backing the candidate with the best chance of winning.

All incumbents have to do is make the people not like the other guy, make him look too dangerous, etc.

McConnell’s a practiced hand and he knows how to manipulate.
