GOP's Denham: ‘Un-American’ to Deny Citizenship to Undocumented
National Journal ^ | January 28, 2014 | Jordan Fabian

As House Republican leaders prepare to unveil their plan for immigration reform, addressing the undocumented population remains the thorniest issue.

The New York Times reported Tuesday that the GOP's framework will call for a path to legal status for many of the 11.7 million immigrants living here without papers. But the document specifically opposes a "special pathway to citizenship," except for undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as children.

Don’t these idiots know that there is already a pathway to citizenship? It is law. Those not following the law are criminals. Those who aid and abet those not following the law are criminals also. Congress critters are not exempt and are, therefore, criminals if they try to do it any other way.

GRRRRREAT post! (They know)

Yep. Only the shell, the outward forms of our republic remain. Just as the Framers read histories of the decline of ancient republics, perhaps some future civilization will use our experience to avoid our end.

Yes, they seem to be saying they will support the same agenda that the RATs want (legalizing people who broke the law), only its different because the GOP bill won’t contain a “SPECIAL” pathway, just a “normal” pathway to citizenship. That makes it OKAY, according to the geniuses behind this proposal.

It’s akin to Clinton conceding that he made “false and misleading statements”, but insisting that he did NOT commit perjury.

You can guarantee that once they are granted any kind of status, that the liberals will start screaming that they are being treated like 2nd class people, and then go judge hunting to find one that agrees with them and put them on the fast track for citizenship. Instant 12 million dem voters.

I am very sensitive to weasel words being added in for deception. They all use that term ‘special’, Rubio, Ryan,,.....

I can understand that there are some here who deserve a break but anyone here illegally who gets any type of permanent residence (without leaving and waiting outside) has been put to the front of the line over those waiting outside USA to come legally.

SPECIAL is just another lie.
