The "climate experts" are at it again. It's not like MORE ice and snow would ever cause an avalanche. Or the sun. Doesn't exist I tell you! Bow. BOW to the almighty experts.
Serves climbers right for climbing up a giant mountain in the quest for chest-beating bragging rights.

And not one person would have been killed if the climbers hadn’t been there. No one lives there and there are no towns there.

I’d be so much more worried about this if I hadn’t already frozen to death in the “coming Ice Age!” they predicted back in the 80s.

Avalanche caused by global warming crashes into wildfire caused by global warming. Problem solved.

M ountaineering tourism in Nepal faces a threat from global warming On the other hand, the new seaside resorts should bring in even MORE tourism.

Well, I'm certainly concerned. According to my calculations if we don't abolish capitalism immediately my well house is gonna get flattened by the next big one in Nepal.
Well, it could be a decimal point error.

It’s as goofy as the video they like to show of glaciers “calving” icebergs as if it were caused by global warming. It is as goofy as claiming that heavy rain is caused by river flooding.
To: Up Yours Marxists
I don’t know how “rising global temperatures” could be causing a glacial melt, when in fact, global temperatures haven’t risen in 15 years.
And frankly, if a bunch of tourists get killed in avalanches on Everest, I don’t care. They knew the risk when they started the hike..

Come on. Climbing Mt. Everest was getting Ho Hum. Everybody was doing it. Traffic jams were taking place on the trails. Avalanches are going to cause many to reconsider their "Bucket List".
BTW glaciers once covered a good portion of all the continents. Then they melted and are continuing to do so.

So-if someone just has to do something totally dumb and dangerous, wouldn’t it make more sense to go climb a mountain where there aren’t as many avalanches? There are plenty of mountains all over the world where a climber can risk their life falling several thousand feet, rather than lose it in an avalanche.
I don’t really give a rip about the revenue Nepal gets/doesn’t get from tourists, and I doubt the earth will move into a better position relative to the sun to keep their glaciers frozen...

So far, 2014 has been the coldest year in recorded US history. The previous records of 1899 and 1912 fell just a short while ago.
Also, the current ice packs at both the North and the South poles are larger than any time since satellite records have been kept.
