Towson University won the 2014 Cross Examination Debate Association’s national championship on March 24, of this year. The team members inexplicably used the n-word repeatedly and babbled nonsense.

This was not a debate. The people involved should be embarrassed and ashamed to be part of such a mockery of real debate. I looked Towson up, and it is an actual university. But how can anyone and I mean anyone think that a diploma from Towson has meaning after watching this video of two Towson girls spouting racist words and nonsense.

Is this some kind of alternative hip hop, or African only debate championship? Like some kind of beat poetry thing? Or is this actually, seriously “the” actual, college debate final championship?
This is the end game of Affirmative Action. Asian or White students can rehearse, prepare, and study all they want. If a black team shows up, they lose. In the final, black vs black round, the judges obviously went for the ‘two-fer’: black plus female.
C’mon guys...if you were tasked with finding a way to completely and utterly destroy the most amazing society ever to exist on earth, in a strictly non-military fashion, what could beat this? It is true genius. I suspect the historians 200 years from now will marvel at the genius of the amerikan leftists who took this great empire down........

Did you miss my point. The “debate” was an abomination. But all too many folks are not interested in reason, logic and good sense. They want to be amused. A good logical argument goes over their heads. Just look at who gets elected. I was not defending the award. Just explaining it.
I wasn’t disagreeing with you, I was making a joke - apparently a bad one. The debate wasn’t any more understandable than was Lewis Carroll’s Jabberwocky. I can’t imagine any of these young people will make a mark outside government.
