San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro is widely referred to as a "rising star" in Democratic politics. There's even talk the Mexican-American Castro could earn the vice-presidential spot on the 2016 Democratic ticket in an effort to further strengthen the party's bonds with Hispanic voters. And now, it appears Castro's national profile is about to rise with word that President Obama plans to nominate him to be Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
If Castro is tapped for the job, his Senate confirmation hearings will likely shine a spotlight both on his role in San Antonio's government and his way of making a living.
People in San Antonio are too uninformed to know the real story of their mayor.
Texas Ping.
Obama looks for the worst possible people to nominate I guess
Texas Ping—gag alert!
“When will the bimbo eruptions occur?”
Never.
Unless his handlers invent one themselves - otherwise - you’re trying to put the wrong plug in the wrong socket.
Mommie’sACommieCastro. No thanks!!

JULIAN CASTRO: A RADICAL REVEALED
Indeed, he, along with his twin, Joaquin, currently running for Congress, learned their politics on their mothers knee and in the streets of San Antonio. Their mother, Rosie helped found a radical, anti-white, socialist Chicano party called La Raza Unida (literally The Race United) that sought to create a separate countryAztlanin the Southwest.
Today she helps manage her sons political careers, after a storied career of her own as a community activist and a stint as San Antonio Housing Authority ombudsman.

Gag alert is right.
They made the official announcement today, the Friday before a Memorial Day weekend. They really don’t want any major media reporters assigned to investigate this guy.
During the announcement Obama mentioned that Castro was a great manager. Of course Castro has never managed anything.
