A ban on chocolate milk may be too much for the governor of Connecticut to stomach.
The state General Assembly earlier this week approved nutrition legislation that threatened to remove chocolate milk from public schools. But, drawing a line in the sand in the nanny-state debate, Democratic Gov. Dannel Malloy announced Friday that on the matter of lactose legislation -- he is intolerant.

That's how my two boys (5, 3) are. They won't touch white milk. I'll put just enough chocolate syrup in it to turn it slightly brown and they gulp it up.
If I buy chocolate milk straight off the shelf (as I like to drink) I have to mix it 50/50 with regular milk or they'll tell me it's too sweet.
The problem with chocolate milk is the same problem with butter milk. I can't find any that's not. "low fat".

Use white milk and add your own chocolate. If I get a minute I’ll post a recipe for some chocolate sauce that’s WAY better than Hershey’s or similar store-bought stuff. We use it primarily on ice cream, but it does make great chocolate milk.

Same with us. We have to mix it too.

When chocolate milk is outlawed only outlaws will have chocolate milk.
