So it’s okay for the government, but not okay for the citizen? I am pretty sure the founders had the same gun tech as the military at the time, no?

Here’s a counter proposal
DISARM THEM.
Make them work with local law enforcement authorities (sheriffs) when then need to enforce their edicts.

The Marxist villain in the Oval Office is implementing his plan for a “civilian police force” while strangling the regular military.
Sort of like creating a force of SA troopers.

Yes, well you see, sometimes land gets unruly and is hard to manage. At these times, you must have heavy firepower to manage the land.

BLM shouldn’t have anything larger than .22 with snakeshot.

This is exactly how it should work, and how it has worked historically. The militarization of the federal government should frighten all Americans, but the left love an oppressive, fascist government when they are in control. When they are not in control, suddenly they take to the streets shouting “No blood for oil” and “Bush is Hitler”.

It just amazes me that any government agency can order whatever kind of weapons they want without any kind of oversight. These weapons are to be potentially used against citizens, and the citizens, the free, are the ones restricted or banned outright from owning them at all. Things are a little lopsided in my opinion.
To: ZULU
BS. The RFQ is for agriculture NOT BLM which is under interior.
Bad enough the farm feds want them. Many on FR make fun of "conspiracy sites" but instantly believe any garbage posted.

Step 1) Buy a boatload of handgun ammunition, for "training".
Step 2) Buy a boatload of submachineguns, designed coincidentally for that handgun ammunition.

The post is titled “ Bureau of Land Management Bids for Submachine Guns”. It is NOT the BLM it is AGRICULTURE.
