To Austin Freepers who gathered at the Texas Governors Mansion in 2000 to fight the left and the media over Bush vs. Gore.
One of the most memorable FReepers was TheSarce who was a camera bug and she took great pictures of our battle there.
If you remember it was 36 days after the election that AlGore refused to concede and every day there was a huge bank of TV cameras on the (left) side of the street and the Freepers on the governors mansion side of the street (protecting him from the left).
She had a seizure while we were talking and at the hospital the ER doc said she had burst a blood vessel in the brain. (she had VERY high blood pressure).
Her goal recently was to get back to Texas and get her house ready to live in because the temps in Chicago area this winter were many degrees below zero almost every day. WAY TOO COLD for living.
She is alive at this point but it won't be more than 2 days right now.
She is surrounded by her new family up north where she has been living since 2008 and loved by them this whole time.
Please share your stories of TheSarce also a founding member of the Heart of Texas chapter of FreeRepublic.com

prayers up for her and her family.
Not another one!
What a sad couple of weeks.
Prayers for all concerned.
.
Amen to that!! They say it’s always in threes...I’m fearful of logging on the rest of the week..
So I met the Austin FReepers around the Govenors mansion, we were there 11 of the 36 days between election and consession. TheSarce was there all those days for long hours and got some incredible pictures.
I know that just after I left one time, GW Bush came out of the the back door and Marci got 2 fanstastic pics of him with the victory sign and another one just great. I missed seeing him but the pictures did capture a moment.
Those negatives will be lost in her stuff up north. what a shame!
Wanted to let you know of her imminent passing. It won’t be long now.
They wanted to do surgery but if you knew her, you would know that everything affected her badly and she would not have survived anesthesia. So she is allowed to go quietly.
She has been very sick at Christmas and with her high blood pressure has expected this every day since then. I have been talking to her daily to make sure she had someone who cared and she had adult conversation with daily.
With terrible computer troubles she has not been able to get on FR for months and I know missed it terribly.
I am so sorry to hear this. She was so generous with her phototakings. She participated in a few events with our group too. Marci is in my prayers.
Sad times for Freepers.
Prayers for her, her family and friends.
God be with her, and she with Him.
:’(
Thanks The Bat Lady.
Prayers on the way..
God Bless
YEP WE MAY PASS
BUT OLD FREEPERS NEVER DIE
JEW CHRISTIAN AND HINDU ALIKE
WE ARE BORNE BY VIKING KITTIES
AND ALLOWED “IN” BEFORE THE END...
Thank you my FRiend.
One thing I will never forget about Marci was that she was COMPELLED to go to Florida during the Terry Shiavo murder and traveled up and down the State trying to stop them from killing Terry. She couldn’t explain WHY she had to be there but not a religious person just felt that God TOLD her to go.
She met some great friends there and said that she felt REAL EVIL there in the Florida capitol - Jeb Bush. So when the republicans say that Jeb must run for Pres, I say NO MORE BUSHES!!!!!!! especially that one.
Ping to a Freeper in distress. She’s in Chi-town-area but was looking to get back “home” to Tejas.
Say a prayer...
RIP
I’m so sorry to hear this! She was one of the nicest people I have ever known.
May she rest in eternal peace.
Sad news. I met Marci on FR, then in person at the Governor’s Mansion in 2000. I also remember visiting with her at Basil’s house.
She was just good people, and will be missed. Prayers for her, and her loved ones.
Prayers
Didn’t have the pleasure of knowing her, but she sounds like she is swelling God’s army in heaven to soon visit the criminality on earth during the seventh Trump.
May God hold her, her family and friends in the palm of His hand.
