You'll need to think again, suggests a new study, which finds that high levels of resveratrol consumed as part of a regular diet are not linked to lower levels of cancer, cardiovascular disease or inflammation, and do not appear to prolong life.
The latest research on the promising polyphenol was conducted on the senior population of two villages in the Chianti region of Italy -- 783 men and women 65 and older whose health and resveratrol intake was tracked between 1998 to 2009. The study was published Monday in JAMA Internal Medicine.

Thank God, no more having to choke down all that chocolate and wine, everyone can now return to their rice cakes and oat bran.
Big Pharma is terrified of the supplement industry because natural supplements generally cannot be patented. If people find out that an herb or combination of naturally occurring minerals has the same effect as a very expensive drug, Big Pharma could lose billions.
Curcumin, found in the spice Turmeric, has been found to profoundly lower systemic inflammation. Right now, some Big Pharma firms are trying find a way to slightly alter the molecular structure of Curcumin so they can patent and market it for big bucks with a phony-baloney brand name like Curcamex or Turmerol, when you could get the same effect at a health food store for a few bucks.
Ditto for us.

I also noticed that. The floaters in my right eye are clearing up since I started taking it a few weeks ago.
