Charles Barkley, known as the "Round Mound of Rebound" during his playing days due to his ample bulk, poked fun at the "big ol' women" of San Antonio during an NBA telecast last week, calling the Texas city a place where "Victoria is definitely a secret."
And Sir Charles said Sunday night that he will not apologize.
"You know that Im joking around," Barkely said (video above). "But if yall waiting on me to apologize, hell gonna freeze over.
Here is the clip from last week that landed Barkley in hot water

Paging Adam Silver... :-)
What a gentleman.
turrible
Hey Charles... Bashing Fat people is OK...
Try something a little more controversial... Talk about “the kiss”... Let’s see how long you last...
He’s a racist dumbazz.
I admire him for that statement and wish EVERYONE who is called on to apologize would say the same thing.
People really have to become less sensitive.
Paging Adam Silver... :-)
Im with Charles on this one, life is tough, get a helmet.
I can back up that statement. I met him years ago and he sure did love the white women then. I am sure not much hs changed.
Hes a racist dumbazz.
True. I live in San Antonio. AKA Fat Antonio. And we do loves our Mexican food here.
Still... Barkley has no room to talk as he is fat AND stupid.
The “Victoria is definitely a secret” line is absolutely sexist, and funny.
Dirty Nellies Nutz...
Dittos.
I agree. Whatever else he has said or done aside I applaud him for this response. The sooner political correctness is buried in a shallow grave and covered with lime the better.
It was ugly, it was disgusting, and it was the most arrogant thing I’ve seen in a long time.
If it’s true about SA, it’s worse.
He is mean.
OK
A lot of people can get away with trash talk like this.
What’s the accomplishment.
Freedom of speech is not meant to allow people to trash talk.
Duh.
It is meant for the improvement of society.
Freedom is not license, it is the freedom to pursue happiness.
How does this do that?
I am so discouraged at how many people, even Dana Perino, are not seeing that not just anyone can get away with this kind of trash talk.
Yuk. He is abusing his priveledged status.
His behavior is disgusting, and his defenders look stupid.
You admire him?
Imagine any gentleman, if you can think of any, surrounded as you must be by arrogant males, if this is admirable, saying this about women.
I admire a lot of men, and I feel the opposite about males who insult people on a large scale like this.
How people in this country can listen to themselves saying anyone, less, a celebrity, can insult a range, class, gender of people like this is outrageous.
Plug in other classes of people and see if the same admiration is appropriate, and if not, why not.
substitute another celebrity making a similar remark.
I am outraged
Admiration??!
